Following the Governments published advice, from 19th July 2021 we have made a few changes to our procedures as follows;
All hire bookings will continue to be by appointment only. These can be booked either by calling the office on 01483 776612 (during opening hours) or via e-mail @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
All bookings MUST be made in advance.
Hire slots will be allocated every 10 mins from 09.00am, with the last booking available at 16:00pm. All equipment hired MUST be returned to the Shopmobility car park by 16:30pm. Our opening hours remain as Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00am to 16:30pm. We are closed on Thursdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Please provide the following details at time of booking;
· Client’s Full Name
· Day, Date and Time you wish to hire
· Details of the equipment you wish to hire ie mobility scooter, wheelchair, power chair etc
· Preferred method of payment (we accept cash, electronic payment (via BACS/online banking), or you can request to be invoiced monthly).
Member parking is available as usual within our private car park.
All the equipment for hire will continue to be sanitized and will be ready for collection in a designated area of the Shopmobility carpark.
Clients will now have access to the office, however we are limiting to a maximum of two in the office at any one time, hereby ensuring we can maintain social distancing. We also request the scooters are kept outside in the car park area, and not brought into the office. Walking aids will be available, if requested, to help you access the office. We shall keep the outside seating available. The staff toilets will continue to be unavailable for use, so we encourage you to make use of the public facilities within the shopping centre.
Mask wearing is completely optional, and is entirely your own personal choice. Members of staff are happy to wear a mask at a client's request, if this is your preference.
